Download the Nami extension for your browser (Chrome, Brave, or Microsoft Edge). 



On opening, you will be asked to create a new wallet.



During the process, you will be provided with a “Seed Phrase”. Make 100% sure to store it in a safe and private location. The seed phrase is the only way to restore a wallet. If you lose access to your wallet (eg. hardware issues) and lose your seed phrase, your wallet assets CANNOT be recovered.

Getting Started

A compatible Cardano wallet is required to play Equine. Below are the steps to create and fund a wallet.

Wallet Setup

To buy a horse and participate in races, your wallet needs to be credited with ADA currency. There are two ways to fund a wallet, via a centralized exchange or using the Moonpay service on jpg.store. Most popular exchanges are crypto.com, Binance and Kraken and all allow for buying ADA directly via cedit card. Once bought, it needs to be transferred to your personal wallet. Your wallet address is visible when clicking the &#8220;Receive&#8221; button in both Nami and Eternl. Initiate a fund transfer from the centralized exchange to your wallet receiving address to get your ADA. If using Moonpay, the ADA is automatically transferred to the wallet connected to jpg.store.

Funding Your Wallet

Once your wallet has a sufficient ADA balance, you can navigate to any third-party marketplace to buy your first horse. Such marketplaces include jpg.store and nftjam.io. Use the different filters to find the horse matching your budget and requirements. Once bought, it will show up in the Equine app after a few minutes.
